Welcome to NLP!
This site will teach you about NLP and introduce elementary NLP programs to try for yourself.
Natural Language Processing interrogates texts for some desired output. For example, NLP can look at a list of names and give a prediction as to whether the name is a male or female name.
We want to introduce NLP to new users that may be able to benefit from these programs. The users can be ESL teachers/tutors that need to get the parts of speech from a text, social scientists interested in language patterns, students that would like some shortcuts in getting long and/or unusual words from a given text, etc.
We will provide all you need to get started to install the necessary applications and the texts that that you will utilize to learn about NLP. We will provide all the features that you can choose to explore and then see the program and the neat results.
